The total design height of this project is 2 1 1.2m, with 56 floors in total. It integrates tourism, office building, shopping mall, catering, culture and entertainment industries, and will become a landmark building in Zhanjiang after completion.

Zhou, member of the Standing Committee of Provincial Party Committee and Minister of United Front Work Department, Xu, Secretary of Zhanjiang Municipal Party Committee, and Mayor attended the groundbreaking ceremony. After the leaders and guests attending the ceremony laid the foundation stone for the project, Zhou announced: "Zhanjiang Guangzhou Bay Times Square started construction."

Chen Yaoguang said in his speech that landmark buildings are often used to show the staged signs of urban development, and Guangzhou Bay Times Square undertook this task. This 56-story building with a height of more than 2 10 meters, with its proud height and modern shape, marks a new stage of urban construction in Zhanjiang. He hoped that all parties would make joint efforts to create new "Zhanjiang speed" and "Zhanjiang quality" on this project.

Zhanjiang Guangzhou Bay Times Square includes 56 floors of the main building, 7 floors of the podium and 3 floors of the underground garage, of which 1-7 floors are commercial buildings, 8-25 floors are five-star hotels and 27-56 floors are office buildings. The land area of the project is 17 100 square meter, with a total construction area of 204,000 square meters, and the construction period is three years.

The project is jointly operated by Hongkong Yin Ji Industrial Group Co., Ltd. and Zhanjiang China Travel Agency (Group) Co., Ltd. In 2005, the two sides reached a cooperation intention at the Pan-Pearl River Delta "9+2" Economic and Trade Cooperation Fair, formally signed a cooperation contract in June 2006, and established a Sino-foreign joint venture-Zhanjiang Guangzhou Bay Overseas Chinese Hotel Co., Ltd. in September 2006. By the end of August this year, the house of the former Overseas Chinese Hotel in Guangzhou Bay had been demolished, and the land was leveled in September.

According to the owner's introduction, the Guangzhou Bay Times Square project meets the needs of Zhanjiang's urban development and has an international orientation, which will provide a good carrier and a high-quality business platform for large domestic and foreign enterprises to set up regional headquarters in western Guangdong.
