In view of the current situation of COVID-19 epidemic in Hong Kong, the Hong Kong government announced this afternoon that it would further tighten epidemic prevention measures:
1. Hong Kong customs clearance and quarantine regulations: extend the compulsory quarantine arrangement for some visitors to Hong Kong until September 7;
2. The validity of the epidemic "aggregation restriction order" is extended to the whole year, and the validity of the "aggregation restriction order" is extended to 65438+February 3 1.
3. From July 23rd, masks should be worn at the interchange, terminal and any indoor public places of public transport. The relevant new measures will last from 14 to August 5.
4. People who have been to Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, the Philippines, South Africa and the United States in the past 14 days must provide COVID-19 nucleic acid test results and hotel reservation certificate within 72 hours. The regulation will take effect on July 29th.
The next week or two is the key to the development of the epidemic. The government does not rule out taking stricter epidemic prevention measures, and appeals to people to stay at home as much as possible and avoid unnecessary social activities.
