More than 300 kilometers south of Chengdu, it is a ravine with a depth of more than 50 kilometers, with a total area of 64,297 hectares and a forest coverage rate of over 80%. I. Climate
Jiuzhaigou is about 3000 meters above sea level and belongs to the humid climate of plateau. The temperature in Jiuzhaigou varies greatly in spring, and the average temperature is mostly between 9- 18℃. There was frozen soil and residual snow before the weather in April.
In summer, the temperature in Jiuzhai rises rapidly and steadily. Jiuzhaigou Nature Reserve is high in the south and low in the north, with deep valleys and wide height difference. The top of the mountain and the peaks on both sides are basically covered with snow all year round. Jiuzhaigou is located in the transition zone from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to the Sichuan Basin, with complex geological background, widespread carbonate rocks, developed folds and faults, strong neotectonic movement, large crustal uplift and various alternating forces, which have created diverse landforms and developed large-scale karst travertine deposits.
Jiuzhaigou is dominated by plant karst travertine deposits, featuring gorgeous and elegant lakes, swift streams, waterfalls with flying pearls and jade splashing, ancient and quiet Lin Mang and rolling snow peaks.
