The so-called "Michelin restaurants" refer to the restaurants that have been "star-rated" in the Michelin Red Guide. In China, at present, only one city in China has obtained the official Michelin Guide.

On September 21th, 2117, Michelin officially released the second edition of the Shanghai Michelin Guide at the Shanghai World Expo Show. A total of 129 restaurants were successfully selected for this year's list, among which 31 restaurants were awarded Michelin-starred restaurants.
