We used to go to college in Guangzhou, too, and we think that 2,000 yuan per month is basically enough to go to college in Guangzhou as long as we don't spend money recklessly.
First, the city of Guangzhou, although not as good as Beijing and Shanghai, but there are still many good universities. The number of universities is also large, both Sun Yat-sen University, South China University of Technology, such as 985 universities, but also South China Normal University, Jinan University, such a very good 211 universities, as well as the Guangdong University of Foreign Studies, Southern Medical University, such as "double non-", but the strength of the key universities is very good.
But no matter which university you study at in Guangzhou, the cafeterias at these universities are not expensive, and there are so many choices that some universities have seven or eight cafeterias on a single campus for students to choose from. So at least the spending on meals won't be particularly high.
Secondly, from the current situation, many undergraduates are now arranged in university towns, which are not in the main city of Guangzhou and are located slightly out of the way. There is still a distance from the university town to the main city of Guangzhou, and it also takes some time from the subway.
While it has been a while since I've been to Guangzhou's university town, the situation back then showed that basic meals and purchases of daily necessities in the university town could still be solved, and the prices weren't too expensive, so the basic consumption of students in the university town could be guaranteed.
For students living in Guangzhou university town, due to the distance limitation, to a certain extent, it will still reduce the consumption level of students. After all, some students feel that it is still a bit far to go to downtown Guangzhou on weekdays, so they try not to come out if they can.
Third, the overall consumption level in Guangzhou is not high. This is not high, is relative to other Beijing Shanghai Shenzhen these three first-tier cities, Guangzhou, although the economy is developed, for students, many of them are civilian consumption. Guangzhou's catering industry is developed, but whether it is near the school, or other parts of the city, there are a lot of very good but the price is not expensive restaurants for students to spend. There are also a lot of places to shop in Guangzhou, and pedestrian streets like Shangxiangjiu and Beijing Road are also very good for student spending.
Of course, there is never an upper limit to spending, and as long as you are willing to spend, you will never have enough. Therefore, as long as the child is not usually spending a lot of money, 2,000 yuan per month is already enough to ensure that the consumption of the university in Guangzhou. Parents should also properly control their children's spending power, not just indulge and spoil, after all, the child is already an adult in college.
