Baiyun Temple, formerly known as Baiyun Temple, is located in the south of Taiyuan City. It was built in the early Ming Dynasty and rebuilt during the Wanli period. The Sutra Pavilion was built in the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty. Due to its close proximity to the ancient monument, the village of prefect dike was renamed Baiyun Temple. Because there is a Buddhist temple outside the north gate of Taiyuan, it is called the South Ten Square Courtyard. The temple is spacious and the scenery is quiet. Now it is a cultural relics protection unit.
