If you see a small shop at the end of Nanluoguxiang the small store with a queue, it must be Wen Yu Cheese Shop. Jade Cheese is an old favorite in Beijing. It is a family-run handmade workshop. Although it lives in a secluded alley, it is so famous that it does not have a branch. The cheese is fresh from the fridge, braving the cold. Put a small spoon in your mouth. It's cool and smooth, with a hint of unappetizing rice wine mixed in with the thick milky flavor.
