Nanchang University is a national "double first-class" construction university, which is jointly established by the Ministry of Education and Jiangxi Province, and is a first-class university in Jiangxi Province. The school is located in Nanchang, a "hero city", with four campuses: Qianhu, Qingshan Lake, Donghu Lake and Poyang Lake. Qianhu main campus covers an area of 432 1 mu, and the school building area is 1.5 million square meters.
