The current situation of college students' entrepreneurship in China
First, college students' entrepreneurial activity is high. According to the 2117 Employment Report of College Students in China (Blue Book of Employment), from 2115 to 2117, the number of college students starting businesses in China exceeded 211,111 each year, and the proportion of college graduates starting businesses rose from 1.6% to 3.1%, so the entrepreneurial activities of college students in China became increasingly active. The report also shows that in 2117, 26% of college students had a strong or strong desire to start a business, which was 8 percentage points higher than that in 2116, and 3.8% of them said they must start a business. It can be seen that entrepreneurship has become a choice recognized by the public from a small attempt.
second, college students' entrepreneurship is highly innovative. College students' entrepreneurship is different from that of social people. Their original intention is not profit-driven, but to realize people's better life through technological innovation and model innovation, so as to promote social development. At the same time, they are active in thinking and master certain professional skills, so they pay more attention to product innovation in the process of starting a business. China Report of Global Entrepreneurship Watch 2115/2116 shows that 65% of young entrepreneurs think their products are novel, while the proportion of non-young entrepreneurs is 57%. About 12% young entrepreneurs in China use new technologies, while the proportion of non-young entrepreneurs who use new technologies is only 7%. Especially from the results of important national college students' innovation and entrepreneurship competitions such as "Creating Youth" and "internet plus" in recent years, most outstanding college students' entrepreneurial projects come from technological innovation in their major fields.
Third, "internet plus" is a hot spot for college students to start businesses. Contemporary college students grew up in the era of vigorous development of internet technology, and they really feel the earth-shaking changes that internet technology has brought to people's lives. It can be said that they have a natural sensitivity to the Internet, but also have a "internet plus" thinking and inspiration. The 2117 Employment Report of College Students in China (Blue Book of Employment) shows that 22% of college entrepreneurs choose to start their own businesses in the accommodation and catering industry, accounting for the highest proportion. This is because the entrepreneurial threshold of accommodation and catering industries is low, and it is in line with the current consumption upgrading trend. At the same time, 19.3% of college entrepreneurs choose to start businesses in the field of consumer e-commerce, accounting for a relatively high proportion, which reflects the deepening influence of "internet plus" on the consumer industry, and the new technologies such as big data and Internet of Things extended from it have also become the first choice for college students to start businesses.
fourth, there are many policies to support college students' entrepreneurship. At present, governments at all levels have issued relevant policies to support college students' entrepreneurship. For example, college graduates are allowed to start businesses with registered capital in installments, enjoy certain tax exemption policies, enjoy low-interest micro-loans from banks, and provide free entrepreneurship training and guidance. At the same time, many areas in China have also built entrepreneurial parks for college students, providing free office space, start-up funds, guidance and consultation services for college students to help high-quality college students' entrepreneurial projects blossom. Colleges and universities also actively build a campus incubation platform to provide students with internship opportunities through the cooperation of schools, governments and enterprises [1]. From the overall entrepreneurial environment, the current support for college students' entrepreneurship is still very strong.
At present, the main difficulties faced by college students in China are
First, there is a shortage of venture capital. Entrepreneurship is an activity that requires a lot of capital. In the early stage of starting a business, college entrepreneurs not only need to rent office space, shops, factories and hire staff, but also need liquidity to maintain the operation of the enterprise, while college students have no stable source of income and no savings. Therefore, the lack of venture capital often becomes the primary problem that college students need to face when starting a business. According to the China Report of Global Entrepreneurship Watch in 2115/2116, only 9% of the funds of young entrepreneurs in China come from loans from banks or financial institutions, and 23% from banks in developed countries such as Europe and the United States. At the same time, 58% of China's youth venture capital comes from family savings, while the proportion in Europe and the United States is only 1.4%. The Report on the Development of College Students' Employment and Entrepreneurship in China in 2116-2117 also mentioned that capital is the objective condition that college entrepreneurs think can most affect the success of entrepreneurship, accounting for 25.95% in the survey. It can be seen that the lack of funds is the most important obstacle for college students to start their own businesses.
second, the entrepreneurial ability is insufficient. The advantage of college students' entrepreneurship lies in their passion, but the disadvantage is also very obvious. In 2118, University of Science and Technology Beijing conducted a survey on 111 college students who had entrepreneurial experience in school. The results showed that nearly 81% of the graduates thought that their entrepreneurial ability was insufficient. First, lack of entrepreneurial knowledge. Most college students mainly focus on the content of their own subjects in school, and they don't know enough about all kinds of financial knowledge, accounting knowledge, financial knowledge, marketing and so on used in actual entrepreneurship. [2] In addition, as far as the teaching mode of most colleges and universities is concerned, it generally focuses on the study and practice of professional knowledge, and involves less entrepreneurial practice. Second, there is a deviation between entrepreneurial choice and market demand. College students have little contact with society and have no in-depth understanding of market conditions, industry development and consumer demand. Therefore, when selecting projects, they are often idealistic or have some blindness. There are also some college students who are eager for success, pay too much attention to high output and ignore the difficulty of the project itself, which also easily leads to entrepreneurial failure. Third, the sense of innovation needs to be improved. The biggest difference between college students' entrepreneurship and social workers' entrepreneurship is that they are innovative and technical. Because they do not have advantages in capital, experience and ability, if college students want to succeed in entrepreneurship, they must work hard on the word "new" and take the road of technological innovation.
Third, entrepreneurship education is lacking. As the cradle of social talent training, colleges and universities naturally shoulder the heavy responsibility of cultivating college students' awareness and ability of innovation and entrepreneurship. According to the China Report of Global Entrepreneurship Watch in 2115/2116, 87% of young people in China have not received systematic entrepreneurship education, compared with 68% in developed countries such as Europe and the United States. A university has conducted a survey on 14 universities in Sichuan Province. The results show that only 24.1% of the students are familiar with innovation and entrepreneurship, and most of them stay on the basis of knowing a little, or simply listen to teachers or classmates. [3] It can be seen that innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities in China still faces many problems. Among them, the most prominent problem is the lack of enough teachers with innovative and entrepreneurial spirit and quality; Second, it is difficult to provide enough qualified innovation and entrepreneurship courses, and most of them are separated from the professional curriculum system in the form of public elective courses or general courses; Third, it is difficult to carry out effective cooperation with society [4]. At the same time, there are still some misunderstandings about innovation and entrepreneurship education in many colleges and universities, such as taking entrepreneurship success as the goal, emphasizing entrepreneurship and neglecting innovation, and thinking that innovation and entrepreneurship education is applied education, which is inconsistent with advanced knowledge orientation, which makes it difficult for college students' innovation and entrepreneurship education to really promote students' innovation and entrepreneurship ability.
