Located on Fengning Dam in Hebei Province, the first grassland scenic spot in northern Beijing, also known as Yuntian Road and No.1 Road in northern Beijing, it lies on the top of the mountain with an average elevation of 1.982 meters, with a total length of 1.000 kilometers, and is known as the most beautiful and wonderful plateau self-driving route in China. The sky here is like a vault, clouds are rubbing their shoulders, windmills are swaying and flowers are blooming. Walking among them, there is both the grandeur and vastness of "seeing three towns in one mountain and reaching the sky" and the excitement and experience of "there are four seasons in one day and different days in a hundred miles", as if walking in a colorful and dreamy original picture scroll.

There are three scenic spots along Bailitian Road: Qiansongba National Forest Park, Yunzhong Grassland Scenic Area (formerly Liushugou Forest Park) and Shibahai Scenic Area. With grassland, forest, wetland, mountain, farmland, flower sea, village and other landscapes, the degree of landscape diversity is second to none.

The main scenic spots are: Baihuapo, Camel Peak, T-shaped Terrace of Heaven and Earth, Huanghuading, Liuyunling, White Birch Windmill, Farmland Flower Sea, Baihualing, Chayanbao, Qiansongba Afforestation Observation Point, Guangmingding, Five-color Flower Field, Tianduan and Hazelnut Ridge.

Bailitian Road will promote the development of rural tourism in five towns and villages along the route and play an important role in promoting the revitalization of local villages.

The planning of Bailitian Road will break the traditional administrative divisions and spatial boundaries, radiate other types of tourist attractions, resorts, rural tourism, catering and accommodation in Bashang area, optimize the tourism industry structure in Bashang, and build a global tourism spatial pattern in Bashang.

In 2023, the whole line of Bailitian Road has been completed, with a total length of 100 km, which is basically hardened. The surrounding area is 25 minutes' drive from Datan Catering Distribution Center, and there are many choices for catering and accommodation, ranging from five-star China Mazhen to elegant boutique homestays. Under many competitions, the situation of cheating customers has decreased. The fare of Bailitian Road is 120 yuan/person (children and the elderly have discounts), and there is no second charge for the whole journey, which provides a better driving experience for tourists.

Tips:

① Bailitianlu Tianlu is located in Bashang grassland, and the temperature difference between morning and evening is large, so it is necessary to prepare cold-proof clothes (such as thin down jackets and hats).

② Bailitian Road is located in the plateau, with long sunshine time and strong light, so it is necessary to prepare sun hats, sunglasses and sunscreen.

The route of Bailitian Road is long, so it is recommended to bring some energy-supplementing snacks such as chocolate, beef jerky and biscuits.
