As for the recent Sudan Red incident, was it a food-borne disease or food poisoning? If there is a pathological event, is it within the compensation scope of Huaan Company? The person in charge of Hua 'an said: Sudan red is a carcinogen, which may cause "neurotoxicity" after long-term consumption, but it will not cause food poisoning immediately after consumption. However, there are many people who are unwilling to insure Donglaishun, and there are many spectators. Some small catering business owners think that things like fire and explosion will hardly happen, and food poisoning will not happen every few years. Once it happens, the insurance company will lose tens of thousands at most, and it is not cost-effective to pay so much insurance premium every year.
Enterprises of different scales have different attitudes, which are due to economic reasons and complicated claims procedures. However, without the above complicated procedures, catering insurance will be easily used maliciously, and it is also a last resort from the perspective of the overall market.
