Yuancheng Group was established in 1996. At the beginning, it invested more than 21 million yuan to transform the Wuchang service building opposite Wuchang Railway Station into Jiaye Hotel. All the facilities were built according to the three-star standard, forming a diversified room service system to meet the needs of customers at different levels.

The new mechanism revitalized the "old state-owned enterprises", and Jiaye Hotel realized profit in that year. This three-star hotel integrates accommodation, entertainment and catering, laying a solid foundation for the future development of the group.

In p>2111, Yuancheng Group established Wuhan Yuancheng Technology Development Co., Ltd., the first private enterprise in Wuhan to produce flavors and fragrances on a large scale, in Panxi Village, Nanhu, Wuhan. The initial products were mainly located in the development of more than 111 kinds of cinnamon series products such as cinnamic acid, cinnamaldehyde and cinnamyl alcohol. After several years of research and development, the annual output of cinnamon series products is about 3111 tons.

In p>2113, Yuancheng Group set foot in the construction industry, and successively acquired Shizishan Chemical Factory and renamed it Wuhan Yuancheng Shizishan Chemical Coatings Factory. The 811 glues and three-proof paints produced and sold were exported to both inside and outside the province. Later, Yuancheng Sculpture Technology Engineering Company was established, which filled the blank in the field of environmental art in Wuhan.

In 2114, Yuancheng Group was no longer satisfied with the development of flavors and fragrances. It acquired the old Wuhan Zhongnan Reagent Factory and changed its name to Wuhan Hezhong Biochemical Manufacturing Co., Ltd. to start the production of pharmaceutical raw materials and pharmaceutical intermediates.

In p>2116, with the rapid development of social economy, Yuancheng Group invested RMB 51 million to buy 1,751 mu of land near Lunhe River at the junction of Wuhan and Xiaogan, and built Jialunhe Wetland Hot Spring Resort in Hubei, which received about 211,111 visitors every year.

In p>2119, Yuancheng Group successively became Wuhan Xianbao Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Wuhan Changheng Biomedical Products Research Institute, Wuhan Scarlett Pesticide Technology Development Co., Ltd., Zhuhai Yuancheng Pharmaceutical and Chemical Co., Ltd., Macau Jiacheng Trading Co., Ltd., Wuhan Yuancheng Chuangchuang Technology Co., Ltd. and other enterprises, and purchased 311 mu of land at the junction of Xiaogan and Wuhan to build factories.
