Catering is always hiring all the year round. Do you know why?

Foreword: We often see in the recruitment software that many people are recruited for many positions in some catering enterprises, and they never stop recruiting. However, they have a large number of interviews, which actually shows that their turnover rate is high, and the turnover of personnel is large, which is not cost-effective for employees. The catering industry is always hiring all the year round for the following three reasons:

1. Long working hours

The catering industry is always open from morning till night, and some even open 24 hours, so many staff in the catering industry have to get up early to prepare. It's normal to go to work at 8: 11 in the morning. At noon, there is only an hour for lunch, and then you have to be busy until 6: 11 in the afternoon. If it is a small business, it may be busy until 8 pm and work at least 11 to 14 hours a day. There is not much rest time, and there is no entertainment time. Many staff members take a shower as soon as they get back to their dormitory after work, and then fall asleep. There is no nightlife at all, and they work all day except sleeping.

2. The work intensity is high

The work in the catering industry does not need high technology, but the work intensity is still very high, and it takes turns to work in many basic positions. If the store is big, the business is good, and the turnover rate is high, then the staff are simply too busy, their hair will be messed up, they will be panting, and their feet will be numb, but they will still be criticized by the leaders for being too slow. If the shop is small, the staff may have to do several jobs at the same time, such as washing dishes, washing vegetables, serving food, cleaning tables, and so on. Basically, the staff can't stop to rest, and they can't even go to the toilet for more than 1 minutes, let alone play with their mobile phones.

3. High job requirements

The catering industry requires cleanliness, hygiene and speed, and enterprises have various assessments, so employees are forced to do a lot of demanding work. For example, to wipe the table, you should take three different rags and wipe them for more than three times, and there should be no water droplets and no dust at all; After the guests are on the table, the staff must respond within 1 minutes, and the guests are not allowed to be left out. These requirements seem very reasonable, but if the store is busy, it is very difficult to really meet the standards.
