Themed on the culture of the Great Song Dynasty, the opening ceremony of Da Dong Zhengzhou Store was held in Zhengzhou, 500 meters south west of the intersection of Jinshui Road and Yingxie Road, marking the official start of business for Da Dong's first branch outside Beijing.

Additionally, the Chinese mood dish is a new concept of Chinese cuisine pioneered by Da Dong, which is different from the general Chinese cuisine made in the West, and improves the traditional Chinese cuisine presentation by integrating the mood of ancient poems into it. Each dish is accompanied by two lines of poetry. Foreigners love this kind of "Chinese cuisine". During the 29th Beijing Olympics, the restaurant received heads of state and dignitaries from more than 20 countries, and was praised as a "gold medal restaurant" by Honorary President Samaranch and President Rogge of the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

This time in Yu, Da Dong*** brought 10 signature dishes, from the crispy Peking Duck, Lobster Soup with Bridge Spotted Garoupa, Shark's Fin with Saffron Sauce, to Da Dong's Contextual Cuisine, which is a combination of molecular gastronomy, realizing a high degree of fusion of color, aroma, flavor, shape, nourishment and the spiritual world of those who experience it.
