Other unique landscapes of Weizhou Island: volcanic landscape, marine erosion landscape, human landscape and meteorological landscape.
Volcanic landscape: The rocks above the altitude of Weizhou Island are basically composed of volcanic rocks and volcanic sedimentary rocks, showing magical landscapes such as crater harbor, volcanic bombs, volcanic rocks, volcanic lava, volcanic impact crater, and radial fracture layer.
Marine landscape: The steep and deep cliffs along the coast have formed various marine landforms such as marine caves, marine gullies, marine niches, marine cliffs, marine stone pillars, marine windows, marine platforms, marine mushrooms and so on.
Humanistic landscape: More than 400 years ago, Tang Xianzu, a famous dramatist in the Ming Dynasty, visited Weizhou Island, leaving poems such as "The sun shines on Weizhou Island, and the wind deviates from the island". During the 65438-1950s, French missionaries went to Weizhou Island to preach, and during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty (1853-1863), Weizhou Church, one of the four great churches in the late Qing Dynasty, was built in Tangsheng Village. 1882, the Church of Notre Dame de France was built in Chengzai Village. In the third year of Qing Qianlong (1738), the "Sanlaoniang Temple" was built on the south bank of the island, which gathered the Mazu culture along the coast and was full of magical legends.
Meteorological landscape: Weizhou Island has blue sea and blue sky, beautiful scenery, fresh air and mild climate, which is suitable for year-round tourism and holiday. Watching sunrise, sunset and ebb and flow is a tourist attraction.
