Falling in love with No Sugar

No Sugar Cafe is located in Yishan Cultural and Creative Park of Fudan University.

A few times before, when I had a meeting at the Yishan Building next door, I took the opportunity to walk around the Park at lunchtime, but I always skipped this store. Tonight, I accidentally stumbled in and just met in a hurry.

The reason why I want to mention this store in particular is that it is owned by my high school homeroom teacher Bin's son! I'm not sure if I've ever met Huang Shuaidi in my life, but I still remember him as a confused, youthful, tall and skinny boy, so much so that I didn't recognize him at all when he walked past in front of my eyes!

Cheekily, Huang Shuaidi and I chatted in between waiting for our meals.

"What time does your coffee shop open?" I asked.

He got back to me, "9:30."

I said, "That's early, most coffee shops don't open until the afternoon."

"Because we have to do some prep work, like checking the beans and stuff." He told me.

"Being a caterer is actually hard work." I said.

He laughed and said, "We're okay with this. I like making coffee."

"In the Cultural and Creative Park, there seem to be several coffee shops?" I asked.

He said, "Well, there are a few. However, I am different from them, only making coffee, specializing in coffee."

Yes, it's because of the love that you can follow your dreams with more focus and no distractions.

I fell in love with the "Flag Bubble Night"

I had the honor of attending the "Flag Bubble Night" at Little Fruit, which allowed me to come into closer contact with Little Dumpling and her team. They came together because of their love for positive discipline and then focused on doing everything professionally.

Before tonight's event began, members of the Little Dumpling team arrived one by one, and A told me that I would skip dinner tonight to finish my work here first. A little while later, I invited B to join me for dinner, and she told me that I wasn't going to eat dinner, and that I had to leave someone behind here anyhow. While I didn't agree with the idea of skipping dinner, I was really impressed by the seriousness of the team.

During the event, I saw their 2016 wrap-up promo, and it was beautiful and sophisticated. That little seed of positive discipline, sown over two years into parent training and into the classrooms of primary and secondary schools, will ze more people learn to educate better and give better companionship to their children and families.

This night, the cheongsam beauties of Xiaoguoren are elegant and confident. Behind their bright smiles, you can feel the power of growth. I don't know whether they are so lovely because they have learned positive discipline, or whether they have such a happy factor in their own character, but the surprise is that everyone present can infect you with their unique selves.

Little Nut's dedication to Positive Discipline has made her grow up fast. Although I didn't see how Little Nut sprouted, I appreciate her efforts to grow up, and I wish her to produce even more adorable "fruit gleanings" in 2017!

Love your questions and responses

2017 has come and gone, and I seem to have a lot of things I want to do again. But the most important goal this year is - to fall in love with my own questioning and responding.

Teachers' questions in the classroom are crucial, and the only way to really inspire students to think is to ask good questions. In the past ten years, my classroom questioning, although occasionally designed, but generally more random, especially in the regular class. Therefore, "how to ask a good question" has definitely become something I want to try to realize. Another aspect is about "response". Last year, I heard He Yanlin's class in the attached middle school, and I was particularly impressed by his responses. I asked him privately if he had prepared for the public lecture, and he replied, "That's how he usually does it." As expected of a great anchor like him, he is enviable in his ability to speak so eloquently. Although I can not reach that level, but I believe that the response can be self-training, at least can be trained better than now.

Because of the focus, so the growth. 2017, I want to focus on this one important thing in the classroom, try to do it well, to realize the self new growth.
