Brief introduction of Hunan Vocational College of Safety Technology;
Hunan Safety Technology Vocational College, located in Changsha City, Hunan Province, is a public full-time comprehensive higher vocational college approved by the Hunan Provincial People's Government and established by the Emergency Management Department and the Hunan Provincial People's Government.
The college, formerly known as Changsha Coal Mine Safety Technology Training Center, was founded in 1984 and jointly established by China Municipal Government and the United Nations International Labor Organization. It is one of the two training bases directly under the State Administration of Work Safety, a national first-class safety production training institution and a national first-class coal mine safety training institution.
As of March 2022, the school covers an area of nearly 500 mu, and the total value of teaching instruments and equipment is 6.5438+75 million yuan; There are 4 secondary colleges, 29 higher vocational colleges and 33 majors (directions); There are 425 faculty members and more than 9,400 full-time students.
