The cold storage should be equipped with fire water supply and fire extinguishing facilities according to the current national standards "Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings" (GB 500 16) and "Code for Design of Fire Extinguishers in Buildings" (GB 50 140).
The fire hydrant of cold storage should be set in the hall or stairwell. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, the indoor fire hydrant system can be dry, but a quick connector and a check valve should be set at the entrance of the first floor, and an automatic exhaust valve should be set at the top of the pipeline.
Outdoor fire hydrants should be set outside the reservoir area and the ammonia compressor room and equipment room (near the ammonia warehouse). Indoor fire hydrant and flowering water gun should be set at the entrance and exit of ammonia compressor room in large cold storage.
A water spraying system should be set above the ammonia storehouse in the ammonia compressor room of large cold storage, and an open nozzle should be selected. The protection area of open nozzle should be determined according to the area occupied by ammonia storage. The water source of the open sprinkler can be supplied by the fire water supply system in the reservoir area, and the operation can be manual.
Dilution leakage of ammonia stored in ammonia compressor room of large cold storage and drainage of emergency ammonia discharger should be discharged separately, and separation measures should be taken before being discharged into the drainage network of reservoir area, and emergency pool and lift pump should be equipped. The dilute ammonia drainage of the accident pool and the drainage of the emergency ammonia discharger shall be discharged into the municipal drainage pipe network or ditch after reaching the standard.
When the design temperature of large-scale cold storage and high-rise cold storage is higher than 0℃, and the building area of a fire compartment is greater than 1500m2, an automatic sprinkler system shall be set up. When the design temperature of the cold storage is not lower than 4℃, the wet automatic sprinkler system should be adopted; When the design temperature of cold storage is lower than 4℃, dry automatic sprinkler system or pre-action automatic sprinkler system should be adopted.
