On the "golden belt", chairs, shopping kiosks, information kiosks, billboards, sculptures, street lamps, garbage bins, flower beds, telephone booths and other urban public **** facilities. All centrally arranged. "Golden Belt" is located 1.3m north of the road centerline, on the sunny side, strongly marking the rest space of the pedestrian street, reflecting the static characteristics of the pedestrian street. The pedestrian zone on both sides is flat and open without any obstacles and leads directly to the stores, reflecting the dynamic character of the pedestrian street. In addition, the "Golden Belt" is made of polished Indian red granite. At night, the "Golden Belt" reflects the neon lights on both sides of the street.
In order to create a good shopping environment, Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street has opened up land in a prime location (the lease price is about 10,000 U.S. dollars per square meter), and designed leisure and green plazas on Henan Road and Zhejiang Road respectively. Henan Road is the entrance to the pedestrian street. Combined with the entrance and exit of Metro Line 2 Henan Road Station, 600 square meters of three-dimensional flower beds are arranged. The Century Square on Zhejiang Road covers an area of nearly 900 square meters and is in the middle of the Pedestrian Street, becoming a gathering place for the flow of people. The narrow space of the pedestrian street opens up here, and the change of space enriches the landscape of the pedestrian street.
