I happen to work in Meizhou, and I know something about it. Let me introduce it to you. First of all, tickets for Meizhou Island are divided into island entry fee and ship ticket: the island entry fee is only collected when you enter the island, but not when you leave the island. The admission fee is free for the locals of Meizhou Island, and each tourist is in 51 yuan; Tickets are divided into speedboats and ordinary passenger ships, and they must be purchased in and out of the island. After the price increase last year, the speedboat was 18 yuan, and the ordinary passenger ship was 9 yuan. That is to say, if tourists want to visit the island, everyone has to pay 68 yuan or 59 yuan, which does not include tickets for various scenic spots, but includes tickets for the bus and a locomotive coach on the island (note: it costs money to find your battery car after disembarking, and most of them will cheat customers). It is possible that you ask someone to help you buy tickets (because my job is special, I never care about this kind of thing because I get in and out of the island and go to all the scenic spots free of charge), but the ferry company has stricter management after changing its manager last year, and it is estimated that it is quite difficult. You can ask the locals to try your luck. If it's go on road trip, the locals will stop your car on the road and ask you to park in their garage to collect rent (there is a parking lot at the dock, and there are also old people who charge). You can give them more rent and ask them to buy it.
In addition, there are three main scenic spots on the island: Mazu Tempel, Golden Beach and Goose-tailed Stone Garden. Among them, there is only a cultural park halfway up the mountain in Mazu Tempel (Mazu statue is on it). Tickets are charged, and if you don't enter the cultural park, it is free. Golden Beach does not accept tickets because it is temporarily unattended. The Goose-tailed Stone Garden receives tickets normally. Tickets all seem to be 15 yuan. I wonder if there has been any price increase to 21 yuan recently. Mazu Tempel is a must-see place in Meizhou, followed by Shenshi Garden, which is a little far away, but it is very distinctive. If the weather is good, it is worth seeing. You don't need a guide, just go to the place and visit yourself. The golden beach has a large area, a small slope and extremely fine sand. It is good to play with water in fine weather, but now there is no one to manage it, so it may be inconvenient to wash your hands and feet.
if the local government or relevant departments have acquaintances, they can arrange a reception list (all over the country), and all tickets are free.
finally, welcome to Meizhou! If you have any questions, or want to know about hotels and restaurants, you can leave a message.
