What are some of the niche places to visit in Beijing?

It seems like my summer vacation is inseparable from Beijing every year, going there for an internship in '17, learning software in '16, and learning hand-drawing in '15 ...... All of these years, without exception, I went there to learn and all by myself. This year is different, is accompanied by girlfriends a piece of fun, but in her words - she was on a shooting mission.

Bestie is studying at the Academy of Fine Arts majoring in choreography and directing, and usually does most of the work is to watch movies and cut videos and take pictures, and lives a picturesque life, so this trip was particularly artistic and refreshing.

We only planned two days, so when we did the guide to the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, Nanluoguxiang, and other places that are bound to be crowded are sifted out.

The next step is to go straight into the itinerary.

Day 1: 798 Art District - Broadway - Sanlitun - Guijie

1.1: 798 Art District

798 is the first place we went to this time, which is not a niche attraction, but is very much recommended to go to stroll, inside the It's not a niche attraction, but it's highly recommended, and there's a lot of beautiful stuff in there.

Additionally, the most famous exhibition area in the 798 Park is the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, which is a paid pavilion with a ticket of 10 yuan, open for free on Thursdays and closed on Mondays, and often has exciting and novel exhibitions, so be sure to go and find out more.

1.2: Broadway Cinema Center (China World City) and Kubrick's Bookstore

After 798, it was already afternoon, and we were a bit tired, so we took a taxi to Broadway to see a movie. We chose the Universal City store partly because of its good looks, and partly because of the Kubrick's Bookstore nearby (well, still because of its good looks).

There are screenings of movies that have been dropped and classics, so we went to see the Cantonese version of Big Little Lies.

1.3: Sanlitun

Going to Sanlitun is purely because of the fantasy of meeting one's beloved ...... (well, I dream), but Sanlitun is, after all, a symbol of Beijing's nighttime, and in recent years it has become increasingly literary because of the likes of Page One and the Old Bookworm bookstore,

There is no harm in going there.

There's no harm in going.

1.4: Guijie

Guijie, known as Beijing's dining street, is once known as "Ghost Street" because it's hot after 10 p.m. every night. Ninety percent of the stores here are in the restaurant business, and there are more than 130 stores along the one-kilometer street, with restaurants lined up, red lights hanging high, and many restaurants open 24 hours a day, making it a quiet place to be at night.

Gui Street near a lot of embassies, foreigners also like to come here to eat, from the old Beijing specialties such as brine-boiled hot barbecue, popping tripe, etc., to crayfish, gluttonous frogs, Chongqing grilled fish and so on. The hottest restaurants on Guijie are at the east and west ends.

It was also late after the night market, but it was good to have a night bus.

The next day: Fangjia Hutong - Wudaoying - Yonghegong - Jingzhaoyin - Confucius Temple and the Imperial College - Qiaofu Fangcaodi

The next day's route is actually very convenient to go to, the attractions are close to each other, so just go to any attraction. We just arranged it so that we could have afternoon tea and snacks at the Jingzhaoyin.

2.1: Fangjia Hutong

Fangjia Hutong, known as the "mini 798," is one of the oldest hutongs in Beijing, and an up-and-coming cultural and creative district that retains the Zhanshunwang Mansion, the Fangjia Hutong Elementary School, where Mr. Laoshe served as principal, and an international collection of restaurants and studios.

There's the Guess the Train Cinema Restaurant, where literary movies are often shown; the Hot Cat Club, a rock and reggae-themed music bar; and Emmonds Town, an authentic Yunnanese restaurant. Emon Town" is an authentic Yunnan cuisine; "Phoenix Claw Chuangqi" is very hot; and "Red Leaf Gleaner" café, which is a mix of Chinese and Western cuisine, is also available.

2.2: Wudaoying Hutong

This area is a bit more refreshing than Fangjia Hutong, with a variety of creative stores, and many of them open in the late afternoon, so it's best to come in the afternoon.

2.3: Yonghegong, Jingzhao Yin, Confucius Temple and the Imperial College

Because we are going to Jingzhao Yin, and Yonghegong and Confucius Temple and the Imperial College are close to each other, so we went together.

Highlighted the afternoon tea sets in Jingzhao Yin, so delicious.

It has a variety of cakes and mousses on the first tier, slightly more refreshing desserts on the second tier, and the most popular Chinese desserts on the bottom tier, each of which is extremely well done and made with the freshest fruits.

The afternoon tea is served from 14:00 to 17:00, and there's music playing in between.

2.4: Qiaofu Fangcaodi

Qiaofu Fangcaodi is a new landmark in Beijing that combines top shopping, offices, and hotels with modern art, and has been described as the most artistic luxury mall, so it's worth a visit. Plus, there's plenty of good food on the bottom floor of the mall.

The evening back to the hotel directly lying corpse.

Tell us about the accommodation.

The hotel this time was the Mercure Hotel Chaoyangmen (former Beijing Ritan International Hotel) booked on the official website of Huazhu Hotel

It is situated in the center of Beijing's most cosmopolitan business districts of China World Trade Center (CMTC), Jianwai Business District (JWBD) and Chaowai Business District (CWBD). It is very close to Sanlitun and Qiaofu Fangcaodi, which were on our itinerary.

The Mercure belongs to the mid-range hotels of the French Accor hotel group, and the French flavor is well reflected in some small details, such as the faint perfume in the air, the flowers in the room, and the artist's work hanging on the wall, which is both elegant and romantic style is very much liked by my fussy girlfriends.

The hotel is newly renovated, so you don't have to worry about the facilities or anything like that at all, and the hotel rooms are very clean.

What's more, the breakfast was complimentary at the time of booking, but we slept through the second day and only made it to breakfast on the first day. The breakfast was a mix of Chinese and Western types, exquisite French and Chinese meals, which tasted great!

And just like that, another Beijing trip ended perfectly, looking forward to the travel video cut by my girlfriends.
