The NC machine tool automatically processes the machined parts according to the pre-programmed processing program. According to the instruction code and program format specified by the NC machine tool, we write the processing route, process parameters, tool path, displacement, cutting parameters and auxiliary functions of the parts into a processing program sheet, and then record the contents of this program sheet on the control medium, and then input it into the NC device of the NC machine tool, thus guiding the machine tool to process parts.
CNC machine tools can be classified according to the three principles of motion control trajectory, servo control mode and function level of CNC system:
First, the motion control trajectory
Point-controlled CNC machine tools: mainly CNC drilling machines, CNC milling machines, CNC punching machines, etc.
CNC machine tools by wire: mainly simple CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, CNC grinders, etc.
Contour control CNC machine tools: mainly CNC lathes, CNC milling machines, CNC wire cutting machines, machining centers and so on.
Second, the servo control mode
Open-loop control CNC machine tools, closed-loop control machine tools (full closed-loop control, semi-closed-loop control), hybrid control CNC machine tools (open-loop compensation type, semi-closed-loop compensation type).
Three, the numerical control system function level
Metal cutting CNC machine tools: ordinary CNC machine tools and machining centers.
CNC machine tools for metal forming: common CNC punching machines, CNC bending machines, CNC pipe benders, CNC spinning machines, etc.
CNC machine tools for special processing: mainly including WEDM, EDM, flame cutting machine and laser processing machine.
Surveying and mapping CNC machine tools: there are mainly three-coordinate measuring instruments, CNC tool setting instruments and CNC plotters.
