Life service industry includes catering industry, hotel industry, education industry, tourism industry, domestic service industry, hairdressing and beauty industry, medical treatment and various agency services.

1. Catering industry

Catering industry is a food production and operation industry that provides consumers with all kinds of drinks, food, consumption places and facilities through instant processing, commercial sales and service-oriented labor. According to the definition of Standard Industry Classification in Europe and America, the catering industry refers to catering service institutions that aim at commercial profit. In China, according to the definition in the Notes on the Classification of National Economic Industries, the catering industry refers to the service activities of cooking, modulating and selling food to customers in a certain place for on-site consumption.

2. Hotel industry

Hotel industry is a public service business mainly providing accommodation conditions. There are many names of hotels, such as hotels, guesthouses, restaurants and inns. They are divided into several types or grades according to the scale and perfection of service facilities. Large hotels are generally called hotels or restaurants. It is well equipped and offers many services. Besides accommodation and meals, it also provides laundry, haircuts, medical care and entertainment, rents vehicles, acts as an agent for post and telecommunications, purchases bus and boat tickets and air tickets, and distributes some daily necessities and tourist souvenirs.

5. Domestic service

Domestic service refers to the socialization, professionalization and marketization of some family affairs, which belongs to the people's livelihood. It is undertaken by social professional organizations, community organizations, non-profit organizations, domestic service companies and professional domestic service personnel to help families interact with society, build family norms and improve the quality of family life, so as to promote the development of the whole society.

Life service industry refers to the service activities that meet the final consumption needs of residents.
