Article 5 Public security organs shall be responsible for guiding, managing and supervising the construction, use and maintenance of public video systems within their respective administrative areas.

(7) public passages and entrances and exits of large-scale material storage units, large-scale cultural and sports venues, large squares, key cultural relics protection units, museums, archives, exhibition centers, municipal underground passages, pedestrian streets and residential quarters;

(8) public passages and entrances and exits of large commercial outlets, large restaurants, large theaters, entertainment places, hotels and Internet service places;

(9) Locations and regions where criminal and public security cases are prone or frequent;

(11) sites and areas for construction as stipulated by other laws and regulations. Article 9 It is forbidden to install public video systems in the following places and areas:

(1) Guest rooms in hotels and restaurants and private rooms in entertainment places;

(2) collective and individual dormitories;

(3) Bathroom, dressing room, toilet, nursing room, etc.

(4) operating areas in financial, insurance and securities institutions that may disclose customers' personal information;

(5) areas where personal wishes can be observed near election boxes and polling places;

(6) Other places and areas involving personal privacy.
