The Stone Forest in Yunnan, the most typical strange landscape of karst landform, has fascinated countless people. The Stone Forest, a natural "Stone Art Museum" created by nature, is the first stop of our trip, allowing us to appreciate the magical power of nature.
The three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple in Dali have a long history. They were built in the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty by the tenth generation of Wang Quan Fengyou of Nanzhao State. Shangri-La is located in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the northwest of Yunnan Province, at the southern tip of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, in the hinterland of Hengduan Mountains, where Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet meet. when we people who have lived in low-altitude plain areas for a long time came to high-altitude plateau areas and climbed to the height that people can reach at present (the highest point of the main peak of Yulong Snow Mountain is 5,596 meters above sea level, but no one can reach the highest point due to geological reasons), our hearts were full of surprises and curiosity. In Kunming, the capital city with the largest number of ethnic minorities living in Yunnan, there are Han, Dai, Miao, Bai, Naxi, Hani, Tujia, Yi, Tibetan, Hui and Yao. No matter in hotels, streets, shops and restaurants where we live, the ethnic minorities wearing various national costumes feel that they are more tolerant, interlinked and the same except for the differences in their costumes.
This feeling is getting deeper and deeper in Shilin, Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La. I bought a Bai costume in a shop in the ancient city of Dali. When I paid the money, I asked the shopkeeper who was from that ethnic group. She told her that it was a Naxi ethnic group, and she opened a clothing store. I asked her why you didn't sell your own ethnic clothes. She said that Bai and Naxi ethnic groups sell clothes, and other ethnic minority shops here, like hers, do not regard ethnic groups as obstacles to communication, but feel that everyone is the same and very harmonious.
The same is true when I buy small gifts in shops in Old Town of Lijiang. Many shops here sell decorations and gifts of Bai, Naxi, Tibetan and other ethnic minorities at the same time, while the shopkeepers selling things include Bai, Naxi, Tibetan and other ethnic minorities, as well as Han people. People living here are more accommodating and integrated. The stalls next to her are adults of other ethnic minorities, who also sell the same things.
