Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the Yangtze River Delta Hangjiahu Plain heartland. It is bordered by the sea to the east, the Qiantang River to the south, the Taihu Lake to the north, and the water of Tianmu to the west. However, 80% of Jiaxing's water belongs to inbound water, which enters from Jiangsu, Huzhou and Hangzhou respectively, and the water quality is poor. Meanwhile, Jiaxing's local domestic sewage, breeding sewage and industrial wastewater are also the main sources of pollution.
