Dalian International Airport is Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport (ICAO: ZYTL; IATA: DLC), which was built in October 1972 and is located in Ganjingzi District, Dalian. It is now a national-level civil international airport, one of the major domestic mainline airports and international scheduled airports, and the first airport in Northeast China with the highest annual passenger throughput.

In 2013, Dalian Airport handled 15 million passengers (15th in China), ranking first among major airports in Northeast China for 17 consecutive years, and the international and regional inbound and outbound passenger throughput ranked 4th in China.
