Porcelain House, located at No.72 Chifeng Road, Heping District, Tianjin (now the commercial center of Tianjin), is a French building with a history of 100 years. The porcelain house is divided into five floors. As the main building, there is a 4-story strip building at the back, with an ear room of more than 200 square meters on both sides, with a total construction area of more than 3,000 square meters.
The location of Porcelain House was originally called Street, where some generals and governors lived, such as General Zhang Xueliang and Duan. According to research, the original owner of Porcelain House was a central finance minister. After liberation, Tianjin Heping District Industrial and Commercial Bureau began to work here, and later it moved to a new location. This place has been idle for a long time because of disrepair.
In September, 2002, introduced by relevant parties, Mr Zhang Lianzhi, president of Guangdong Weixian Cultural Industry Investment Group, spent a huge sum of money to buy it. Due to the age of this building, many places have decayed and collapsed. In order to protect and utilize this building, Zhang Lianzhi began to carry out large-scale construction, in addition to the external structure, internal hollowing out and reinforcement; In response to the government's call, the flat top was changed to a spire; The original ordinary red brick wing rooms on both sides were changed into transparent glass rooms. Since then, the work of sticking ancient porcelain tiles has begun. At the beginning of the project, great efforts were made. Because this is a project without drawings, the designer, Mr. Zhang Lianzhi, president of Guangdong Weixian Cultural Industry Group, has never studied design or architecture. He began to grope for progress with his love for art. In the past, tiles were all attached and removed, and then attached again. Later, with the maturity of teacher Zhang's dream, the progress of the project became faster and faster and more spectacular.
