Article 2 Halal food referred to in these Measures refers to food that conforms to the dietary habits of Hui, Uygur, Kazakh, Dongxiang, Kyrgyz, Salar, Tajik, Uzbek, Bao'an, Tatar and other ethnic minorities (hereinafter referred to as "Hui and other ethnic minorities"). Article 3 These Measures shall apply in the administrative areas of the city engaged in the production, storage, transportation, distribution of halal food units and individuals. Halalal food franchise market, may not distribute non-halal food. Article engaged in halal food production and management units or individuals, must hold business licenses issued by the administrative organs for industry and commerce, to the local people's government departments of ethnic affairs to apply for the "Tianjin halal food production and management certificate" (hereinafter referred to as "certificate") and halal signage, before operating. Article 7 To apply for the "Certificate of Compliance" and halal signboard, the following documents and materials shall be submitted:

(1) the total number of employees in the unit and the list of Hui and other ethnic minority employees, photocopies of identity cards;

(2) photocopies of identity cards and letters of appointment of Hui and other ethnic minority citizens among the leading members of the unit;

(3) photocopies of identity cards of the individual entrepreneurs or owners of private businesses;

(4) photocopies of identity cards of the individual businessmen or owners of private businesses; and Photocopy of the identity card;

(4) the relevant written materials in line with the provisions of Article 5, Article 9 of these Measures. Article XIII of the relevant provisions promulgated in the past inconsistent with these Measures, these Measures shall prevail.
