Two refrigerator docking methods:
Method 1: Connecting two refrigerators through a connector
This is one of the simpler methods of docking, and all you need to do is purchase a connector. A connector is a long fitting usually made of metal. It has two plugs, one connected to one refrigerator and the other to the other. Connectors are easily available in the market.
First, bring the two refrigerators close to each other and make sure that their sides are aligned. Then, attach the connector and make sure that its two plugs are properly inserted into the sockets of the refrigerators. The curved part of the connector should fit snugly against the side of the refrigerator.
Next, set up the refrigerator. Turn the thermostat knob on one refrigerator to the lowest temperature and the other to the highest. Plug both fridges in and wait a few hours to make sure they reach the appropriate temperature.
Method 2: Connecting two refrigerators via piping
This docking method is suitable for scenarios that require both refrigeration and ice-making, such as commercial supermarkets or the restaurant industry. The industry typically picks a centralized control system that connects multiple refrigerators through pipes. This method compared to the first method, it has better stability and reliability, but requires some installation and maintenance costs.
First of all, you need to determine the direction of the pipeline and connection. In the position of connecting two refrigerators, you need to accurately measure the length and distance of the pipeline, and then choose the appropriate type of pipe, such as stainless steel piping or copper piping. The diameter and length of the pipes should be chosen according to the actual need.
Next, the pipe connection. First, the pipes need to be cut and machined for them to ensure their accuracy and smoothness. Next, install the pipe joints and seals to ensure that they are tightly connected and do not leak. Secure the pipes to the refrigerator to ensure they don't come loose or wobble.
Finally, connect the pipes to the central control system. The central control system should be able to maintain and control all connected refrigerators to ensure they are in reasonable condition and temperature. Also, regular checks and maintenance should be carried out to ensure that the connections are good and not malfunctioning.
