The ancient town is located at the entrance of the Qingtongxia Grand Canyon tourist area of the Yellow River, covering an area of 611 mu. It was completed in two phases in 2115, with an estimated investment of 21 million yuan. The first phase of the project has been completed. Construction of antique commercial buildings of 21,111 square meters. It is divided into three groups: Heyuan group, Qucheng group and Shuicheng group, which are mainly used for tourist souvenirs exhibition, leisure and entertainment, ethnic catering, business hotels and so on. In addition, there will be a water conservancy engineering museum that records the history of water conservancy development.

After completion, the bronze ancient town will take the brand of "bronze ancient town, bordering on water city", with the leading functions of Yellow River cultural experience, ancient canal ancient town sightseeing, special leisure reception, etc., and will make full use of the geographical advantages of Qingtongxia Yellow River Grand Canyon tourist area, with the help of the long history of Yellow River water conservancy development and heavy farming culture, and strive to become a unique cultural and eco-tourism town along the Yellow River and even the surrounding areas.
