Attractions recommendation:
Route 1 Liuliqu Village
Liuliqu Village is located on the Yongding River, a pearl in the west of Beijing. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides, facing water on one side and surrounded by mountains and waters, with charming scenery. The village has a long history. It was built in 1264 AD. Since its establishment, the village has formed an indissoluble bond with Liuli. The kiln fire of Liuli has been burning for more than 711 years, and it has been endless. Liuliqu Village is the production base of China Royal Glazed Glass. At present, there are three glazed tile factories in the village that are still operating the glazed industry, continuing the development of the glazed industry. The ancient village has preserved the spatial form of intact traditional villages so far. The overpass at the east entrance of the village was built in the 21st year of Qing Qianlong (1751), and it is the only overpass with yellow glazed roof in Beijing in the Qing Dynasty. In the village, there are complete-scale glazed manufacturer's houses, Xishan Avenue ancient road ruins and dozens of Qing Dynasty residential courtyards and other architectural cultural relics.
Line 1 Niujiaoling Guancheng
Niujiaoling Guancheng, an important pass on Xishan Avenue, is located on the mountain east of Jiuyuan Village in Wangping Town, and now it is an important watershed between Miaofengshan Town and Wangping Town. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, this was the boundary between wanping county Qiuwei South Township and Wangpingkou Inspection Department. As the first pass of Xishan Road from east to west, Niujiaoling Pass was built in the place where two hillsides confronted each other, guarding the strategic position of the ancient road. Today's Guancheng, leaving only a remnant of the city gate hole and very few legends of the word machine. Passing through Guancheng, the ancient road continues to extend in the distance ...
Line 1 Niujiaoling Guancheng Tiwo
As a military fortress in the west of Beijing, Niujiaoling Guancheng has been flooded with caravan camels since ancient times, and military traffic, business trips and people's pilgrimages have all passed through it. Today, we can still see more than 311 hoof nests outside Niujiaoling Guancheng, the deepest of which is nearly 31 cm. These hoof nests are the marks left by mules and horses that came and went in those years, recording the glory and difficulties of the past. The history inscribed on the stone will eventually become an unfortunate monument.
Line 1 Jiuyuan Village
Jiuyuan Village, Wangping Town, west of Beijing is located at the foot of Jiulong Mountain, which consists of four small mountain villages: Dongluopo, Xiluopo, Jiuyuan and Qiaoerjian. According to legend, people here used to grow vegetables for a living, especially leeks, hence the name Leek Garden. The village also has cultural landscapes such as Sanyi Temple, Diaolou, Jingxi Ancient Road, Ma Zhiyuan's former residence, Niujiaoling Guancheng, etc. There are many ancient courtyards built in the village for more than 111 years.

Up to now, there are still four cliff stone carvings on the ancient road that passes through Dongshi Guyan Village, among which there are three stone Buddha statues on a tablet, hence the name Shifoling. From the Cliff Monument to the east, you can go through the road called "Shimen", and then the road is flat, but the outer side is a dazzling cliff. Below is Yongding River and the modern door plate (Mentougou to Banqiao) railway. The comparison between the past and the present can better show the importance of the geographical position of the ancient road.
Line 1 Dongshi Guyan Village
Dongshi Guyan Village, where Shifoling Ancient Road passes through the village, is built in line with the mountain situation. The ancient road divides the village into two parts, namely "South Yard" and "North Yard". The south side of the ancient road is provided with flood discharge ditches. The settlement situation on both sides of the ancient road is obvious, and the villages are spread in strips along the main street, reflecting the pattern characteristics of traditional villages in northern mountainous areas. Its villages are closely combined with the ancient road, and the villages are built in turn along the ancient road.
