I call this method front-end intelligence; The other is that the lamp itself is smart, including smart light bulbs, smart light strips, smart desk lamps, etc. I call this back-end intelligence. Except for thousands of smart ceiling lamps, all the others need not be installed and can be transferred, which seems to be more suitable for young friends who don't have a full set of smart accessories at present, so the whole platform and the whole ecology are sold, as if they want to be recommended to everyone as the first step of smart home, but I think there is no need to buy if there are no other accessories linked.
There are many accessories that can be selected in the market, whether it is front-end intelligence or back-end intelligence. This article mainly discusses the possible scenarios of intelligent lighting, and compares different smart accessories of the same kind to avoid unnecessary expenses. Because my own family not only has smart devices of Mijia Ecology, but also uses other brands of smart switches, setting smart devices in Mijia APP is just an example, but the functions are the same.

Intelligent lighting before decoration is mainly realized by intelligent switches. Whether intelligent lighting in the whole house is needed after having the lighting design drawing, some rooms that are not used every day, or functional areas like cloakrooms and balconies do not need intelligent lighting, and the difference between ordinary switches and intelligent switches may be several times or even ten times, so the total use cost will become very high.

2. Zero fire line: Before decoration, you can choose whether to arrange zero fire line. If only the fire line is arranged, you can only choose the single fire switch. If there is a zero line, you can choose the zero fire line switch. In Mijia, the hot-wire switch is 41 yuan more expensive than the zero-wire switch. The most important thing is that the control power of the single-wire switch is relatively small. For example, when the lamp is below 11W, the problem of light flashing may occur. If the spotlights, downlights and track lights are installed at home, it is easy to appear. The solution is to indirectly capacitor the zero-wire switch of the lamp, and it is very troublesome. Therefore, it is suggested to arrange the zero line directly during decoration.
I found a new light road map on the Internet, which contains all kinds of rooms with similar designs to most apartment types. Without considering whether the lighting arrangement is reasonable, I use this map only for intuitive analysis.
Entrance
After the door is opened, there will be ceiling lamps in both the garden and the entrance. In the position on the right of the schematic diagram, there are basically two situations in which the lighting in this area needs to be intelligent:
1. Lights need to be turned on during the day: if the entrance is around the corner and there are no windows, you need to turn on the lights when you go out to wear shoes or look for things in this area.
2. Turn on the light only at night: as an automatic light to open the door at night.
in both cases, if it is not intelligent, Yeelight induction ceiling lamp can be used. It has built-in dynamic sensor and light sensor, which can automatically turn on the light when someone moves during the day, open the door when you go home at night, and automatically turn off the light after 61 seconds when no one moves. But this kind of intelligence is just like induction lamp in the corridor when I was a child, and it can't be linked with other intelligent devices, let alone the intelligence we need to build.
if it is solved in an intelligent way, it is necessary to add a human body sensor when someone turns on the light automatically during the day. Mijia now has two models, one is Aqara human body sensor, and the other is Mijia human body sensor. The difference is that Aqara human body sensor is several tens of dollars more expensive, with more illumination detection. That is to say, we can set the value of brightness, and turn on the light only after it is lower than the set value.
in mijia app-intelligent-recommendation, there is a setting that someone turns on the light automatically in the room directly.
first, select the dynamic sensor to detect the movement, and then select the equipment to be controlled, so as to create a linkage that someone in the room automatically turns on the light. Because I don't have Aqara smart wall switch, the light that is intelligently set in the picture is a light strip, and the logic is the same.
when people leave, they need to set the automatic shutdown. in the mijia APP, select smart-find the automatic light-continue to add-delay, set the time to delay, then select the light that needs to be turned on, and set it to off.
if there is no illumination detection by Aqara human body sensor, you can set the effective time of intelligence in the following effective time period, and if it is only used in the daytime, set the daytime time.
if you only need to turn on the lights at night, you don't need to use dynamic sensors. If there is a smart door lock of Mijia Ecology and a Bluetooth gateway, you can also set the linkage of automatically turning on the light through the door lock. If any door is unlocked outside the door lock, the light that opens the entrance can be added, or the delay time can be set to automatically close it, and the effective time is set to night, so that opening the door in daytime will not trigger the automatic light.
if there is no mijia ecological door lock, you can also use mijia door and window sensor. Different devices have the same effect.

Behind the porch is the guest room. In the schematic diagram, the three bedrooms are basically designed with main lights and bedside lamps, which are used as atmosphere lights. Generally, the bedroom is double-controlled, that is, the switch at the door of the bedroom and the switch at the bedside can control the main light. The main lamp can be ceiling lamp, downlight, spotlight, etc.
If ceiling lamps are used, intelligent ceiling lamps can be directly used to connect intelligent switches instead of ordinary ceiling lamps. According to the description of Yeelight smart LED ceiling lamp, the smart ceiling lamp has been connected to Mijia APP and can be linked with other smart accessories.
If other light sources, such as downlights, are used as bedroom lighting, you can only connect intelligent switches to achieve the purpose of intelligent lighting. However, when low-power lamps are used and the switch only has live wires, it is necessary to confirm that the lamps will not flash.
No matter whether you use the smart ceiling lamp or the smart switch, you don't need to wire and install the dual-control switch. Double control can be realized by using wireless switch. In my previous sharing, there was something about wireless switches, so I won't go into details.
The bedside lamp in the bedroom can be a wall lamp fixed on the wall, a table lamp placed on the bedside table, and a night light product.
If it is a wall lamp, there are two ways to realize intelligence. The specification of the bulb screw of the wall lamp is E27, and smart bulbs can be installed. However, the price of two smart bulbs is similar to that of a double-key smart switch. Considering that the main lamp may also need a switch, using smart bulbs has no other advantages except changing the color of the bedroom light.
If you want a desk lamp as a bedside lamp, you should choose a smart night lamp when you buy it, and connect the existing desk lamp to smart plug, so as to realize the intelligence of the bedroom bedside lamp.
The intelligent bedroom can be realized:
Turn on the light automatically at dawn: Mijia APP can set the sunrise/sunset and turn on/off the light according to its own city. If you get up regularly, you can also set a fixed time to light up directly.
if you are using smart ceiling lamps or smart bulbs with adjustable brightness, you can also set the brightness to turn on and delay the time to turn off the lights automatically.
Turn on the light automatically when you fall asleep: The logic and method are the same as those of setting the light automatically at dawn.
Generally, bedrooms have windows, and the light is basically enough during the day, so the intelligent lighting setting ignores the need to turn on the light during the day. There are at least two ways to turn on the light after dark:
Go into the bedroom to find things: add door and window sensors, automatically turn on the light when you open the door at night, and turn off the light when you close the door, but the premise of setting is that the bedroom door is usually closed, and the effective time range should be set after dark and before bedtime. Why don't you press it yourself?
turn on the light at night: put a dynamic sensor at a low position on the edge of the bed to sense that someone will automatically turn on the light. It should be noted that if the position of the dynamic sensor is too high, or the detection range is too wide, it is possible to turn the body light on.
The lower position in the schematic diagram is the dining room. If the dining area is only used for dining in the apartment, and it is not used as auxiliary lighting or other multifunctional space, there is no need to use the intelligent switch. If the color temperature of the main lamp in the restaurant needs to be adjusted more carefully, then you can consider using smart ceiling lamps.
The left side of the restaurant is the kitchen and the right side is the life balcony. I don't think it is necessary to use the intelligent switch in these two areas. If the dynamic sensor is used, the logic set is that someone moves in the kitchen and turns on the light, then there may be errors in the sensing position of the slightly larger kitchen dynamic sensor, and if it is a small apartment with only one balcony, there is no choice in the drying position, and the clothes are shaken by the wind, and the balcony light may be turned on. This kind of intelligence is unnecessary.
The living room in the middle is only composed of the main light, the four corner auxiliary lights, and the surrounding light strip. If the lighting of the living room needs to cooperate to realize scenes such as movie mode, chat mode and family gathering, the premise of considering intelligence is that the modes cannot conflict. Because the intelligent logic that can be set at present cannot be that when it is in a certain intelligent scene, it will not run other intelligent scenes. For example, if you use a dynamic sensor and set the main light to automatically turn on when someone moves in the living room at night, it may happen that when you turn off the lights and watch a movie, the main light detects that someone is automatically turned on again.
The intelligent scene of living room lighting pays more attention to the irregular demand, instead of the regular and necessary scene of automatically turning on the light when the door is opened at night. It will definitely be dark at night, and the first thing to do when you go home is to turn on the lights, but you don't have to turn off the lights to watch TV in the living room, and you don't have to turn off the lights to watch TV. So I think the intelligence of living room lighting can be set as:
Turn on the light with one button: set a switch to turn on all the lights in the living room with one button. The switch can be an Aqara smart switch installed on the wall or a wireless switch placed on the sofa. Different wireless switches have different gestures, so you can choose according to the number of scenes you need. Mijia APP smart recommended gameplay can be set directly.
turn off the main light and turn on the ambient light with one button: similar to the setting of turning on the light with one button, just change the light path to be controlled.
turn off the lights with one button: it is often used to fall asleep, or watch movies when other appliances give off light.
after the living room lighting is set separately, it can be applied to other intelligent scenes. For example, when you go to sleep and turn off the lights, you need to turn on the light in the bedroom in addition to turning off the lights in the living room. Then, you can directly add the scene of turning off the lights in the living room with one button to the scene of turning off the lights when you go out, and you don't need to turn on the light in the bedroom when you set the scene of turning off the lights when you go out.
The washstand basin in the guest bathroom is outside the bathroom, so you can use the human body sensor to automatically turn on the light at the basin. Using dynamic sensors in the bathroom and adding door and window sensors on the door, the intelligent setting can be changed to automatically turn on the light when someone walks in the bathroom and the door is closed. This arrangement takes into account that no matter whether the bathroom door is always open or closed, the family can automatically turn on the light when actually using the bathroom.

The intelligent setting is the same as that in the entrance, but the time of delay closing can be set a little longer to avoid the problem that the dynamic sensor can't detect it and turn off the lights directly.
if the intelligent lighting is changed after renovation, the current situation is the main consideration, and the method of changing the three-way switch into two-way switch is not unknown. Besides Mijia Eco, other brands also have three-way switches, such as Lifesmart, which I use. It is best not to force the idea of transformation, just like the release of the three sessions sooner or later, and don't change it hard. If you don't want to do it yourself, it's only ten or twenty to find a property to change the switch.
The premise for all smart switches and smart lamps to be linked is to have a gateway. There are three main types under Mijia Ecology:
Xiaomi Gateway: it supports all smart accessories of Mijia Ecology, supports voice control of Xiaoai students, and cannot be controlled by APPle Family App.
Aqara gateway: it supports intelligent accessories of Mijia Ecology, voice control of Xiaoai classmates, control of APPle Home App, and Siri control.
bluetooth gateway: it is the self-contained function of xiaoai touch screen speaker and mijia night light, and it is mainly connected with mijia door lock, which can be ignored if there is no door lock.
obviously, if you don't have Apple devices, choose Xiaomi Gateway. If you have commonly used or plan to use Apple devices, buy Aqara Gateway.
The above intelligent scene sharing is mainly based on lighting control, and other intelligent devices are not involved. For example, turning off the lights with one key when going out may also be related to the habit of curtains. Using electric curtains can complete one-step operation. However, the smart scenes that each household lighting needs to use are concrete. Just set the lighting scene separately and add other smart scenes.
As for those small smart lamps, without a gateway, they are just Bluetooth lamps that can be controlled by mobile phones. Turning on a lamp requires unlocking the mobile phone, finding the APP and turning it on again, which is not as simple as pressing the switch directly. Of course, they all impose the function of changing color or timing switch, and then decide whether to buy it according to your own needs.
