The Eight Rites
The Rites of Appearance: Clean face, proper dress, natural hair style, and a generous demeanor.
Ceremonial etiquette: perform the rituals according to the rules, fear, seriousness, and respect for the rituals and customs.
The etiquette of speech: civilized language, calmness, patience, listening, sincerity and friendliness.
The courtesy of treating others: respect for teachers and elders, friendship and companionship, tolerance and courtesy, honesty and integrity.
Walking etiquette: abide by traffic regulations, yield to the three first, help the elderly and the weak, and take the initiative to give up their seats.
The etiquette of viewing: obey the order, care for the environment, concentrate on appreciation, polite applause.
Tourism etiquette: treat the landscape, care for cultural relics, respect for folklore, abide by public morality.
Rituals of food and drink: hygiene, food, frugal dining, elegant food.
The Four Ceremonies
7 years old: the entrance ceremony, so that the newly enrolled primary school students can feel the fun of learning, contact with campus life, and perceive the norms of etiquette.
10 years old: Growth Ceremony, so that elementary school students in grades 3 to 4 can learn to be grateful, know how to share, and understand the grace of parents' upbringing, the grace of teachers' teaching, and the grace of friends' help.
At age 14, the Youth Ceremony allows middle school students to learn how to interact and communicate with each other, control their emotions, tolerate others, and take the first step towards youth.
18 years old: the ceremony of adulthood, so that students who have reached the age of 18 know the responsibility of adulthood, to be a law-abiding citizen, social responsibility, continuous self-improvement, and aspire to become a success and serve the country.
Specific norms:
1. Wash their hair and take a bath diligently, and their hair and body are odorless.
2, no dirt in the nails.
3, do not pick your nose and ears in public.
4, change clothes, shoes and socks diligently, keep the instrument neat and tidy.
5, sitting and standing posture upright, in the public **** occasions do not slouch.
6, keep the schoolbag and personal belongings neat and tidy.
7. Don't take off your shoes in public **** occasions.
8. Standing with head up and chest out.
