Recently, "garbage classification" has become a hot topic, which frequently appears in our field of vision.

Just as we were wondering when garbage sorting would be enforced in China like Japan and South Korea, Shanghainese took the lead in this vigorous "classification revolution".

On July 1 day, the Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on Domestic Waste Management will be officially implemented, which indicates that Shanghai will take the lead in entering the era of compulsory waste classification.

According to Shanghai's "Guide to Classified Delivery of Domestic Waste", Shanghai classifies domestic waste into four categories: recyclable, harmful waste, dry waste and wet waste, and lists 104. At the same time, it also intimately lists the items under the categories of large-scale garbage, decoration garbage and electronic garbage.

Even with such a detailed garbage classification scheme, there are still many puzzling places.

For example, half-soaked tea belongs to what rubbish?

The answer given by some netizens is to drain the milk tea first, pour the pearls into "wet garbage", throw the cups into "dry garbage", and then put the lid into "recyclable garbage". Complicated makes people want to give up drinking milk tea.

For example, what kind of rubbish does the dog shit wrapped in the newspaper belong to?

Even if I stand next to the trash can every day and say hello, "What kind of garbage are you?" My aunt doesn't know either.

Because of garbage sorting, Shanghai Ning faced the cockroach, the "first beast in the world", and actually made a high-risk move of "detaining cockroaches with bare hands".

Not only do you dig your brains at home every day to study "what kind of garbage is this?"

Going to the trash can in the community must face the inspection of the uncle in the community with trepidation.

At the other end of the phone, Chengdu people lying in bed brushing these messages laughed and cried, then turned over and threw the pearls of bubble tea into the trash can together with the box.

But don't be too happy, Chengdu's garbage will be sorted soon!

Chengdu will also enter the era of compulsory garbage sorting.

On June 25th, Chengdu listened to the explanation of Chengdu Municipal Domestic Waste Management Regulations (Draft). Chengdu's domestic waste management is standardized from several aspects. This includes clarifying the classification of domestic garbage, and imposing a fine on those who fail to put it in accordance with the regulations and refuse to correct it, and putting domestic garbage in a fixed time and place.

From the point of view of fines, individuals may face a fine of 50-200 yuan and units may face a fine of 5,000-50,000 yuan if they don't put domestic garbage in accordance with regulations.
