Article 3 of the Provisional Regulations on the Administration of Urban and Rural Individual Industrial and Commercial Households stipulates that individual industrial and commercial households can engage in industries such as industry, handicrafts, construction, transportation, commerce, catering, service and repair within the scope permitted by national laws and policies.

The fifth supplementary provisions of the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of the Provisional Regulations on the Administration of Urban and Rural Individual Industrial and Commercial Households are as follows:

Division of industries listed in Article 3 of the Regulations:

Industry and handicrafts refer to the exploitation of natural resources and the production, manufacturing and processing of commodities, the exploitation of minerals and the repair of production equipment and tools;

The construction industry refers to civil construction, equipment installation and architectural design, house repair, etc. ;

Transportation refers to the transportation of passengers and goods, loading and unloading of goods, etc. by road and waterway.

Commerce refers to the purchase, sale, trafficking and storage of commodities;

Catering industry refers to restaurants, restaurants, restaurants, cold drinks shops, pubs, teahouses, noodle shops and so on.

Service industry refers to hairdressing, photography, bathing, washing and dyeing, hotels, lettering, sports and entertainment, information dissemination, scientific and technological exchanges and consulting services. ;

Repair industry refers to the repair of watches, bicycles, sewing machines, radios, televisions, black and white iron and other miscellaneous products;

Other industries refer to other industries that individual industrial and commercial households are allowed to operate by national laws and policies.
