According to the current policy system, a homestay must obtain at least six certificates to operate legally, namely, hygiene license, business license, tax registration certificate, special trade license, fire inspection qualified opinion, food circulation license or catering service license. Among them, according to the requirements of the fire department for the accommodation industry, the living room must be equipped with an independent smoke fire detection alarm or spray head.

B&B refers to a small accommodation facility that makes use of relevant idle resources such as local houses, has no more than 4 business rooms and a building area of no more than 811㎡, and the host participates in the reception, providing tourists with experience of local nature, culture, production and lifestyle.
