Guazhou
Guazhou was once called Anxi, which means "stabilizing the western regions". Approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs, it was changed back to Guazhou in 2006. Guazhou County is beautifully built and suitable for leisure. There are many scattered monuments around the territory, which is very interesting, but the traffic is inconvenient. It is recommended to charter a car.
Xiaoxihu
This is an artificial lake, which is beautifully built. Concrete railings were installed by the lake and cultural packaging was carried out. There is an island of 1.800 square meters in the lake. There are hexagonal pavilions, quadrangular pavilions and promenades on the island. This zigzag bridge connects with the island in the middle of the lake. The park integrates sightseeing and entertainment, and is a good place for Guazhou people to relax.

Yulin Grottoes
Also known as Wanfo Cave, it was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Located 70km south of Guazhou County and100km east of Dunhuang City. All of them were dug on the vertical cliffs on both sides of Yulin River Canyon, just like the ground cracking, which is very spectacular. There are 43 existing grottoes, which are in the same strain as Mogao Grottoes in terms of content, artistic style and painting form, and are also called sister grottoes with Mogao Grottoes. Because of its little fame, the grottoes are well protected, especially the Xixia murals, which have artistic value beyond the Mogao Grottoes.

Transportation: There is no bus in Yulin Cave, so we charter a bus from Guazhou Bus Station 160 yuan. The driving time from Guazhou Bus Station to Dunhuang in the afternoon is 15:00, 16:00, 17:00, 17:30.
Suoyang City Ruins
Located on the Gobi Desert, about 70 kilometers southeast of Guazhou County, it was built in the Han Dynasty, which is the site of Guguazhou County and the ancient city on the throat of the Silk Road. There is a vast oasis near the ancient Suoyang City, which is the link between Jiuquan County and the western regions. There are dozens of ancient cities, ancient tombs, grottoes and temples around, and the scale of preservation is especially great in Suoyang City.
