Vocational and technical schools, referred to as "vocational schools", are a branch of secondary vocational schools. Vocational schools focus on vocational skills training and improving the employment level of the labor force, which is a school-running mode with China characteristics. Through technical training, we can enhance the competitiveness of market employment, and after passing the skill examination, we can obtain a nationally recognized secondary school diploma.

Graduation arrangement

Graduates of vocational and technical schools will be issued with corresponding diplomas after passing the cultural and technical examinations (the obvious position of diplomas is generally marked as: diploma of vocational and technical schools). Vocational school graduates are not assigned by the state, recommended by the labor department (or labor service company), and selected by the employer according to the principle of professional counterparts after examination, and they can also choose their occupations freely.

Graduates from vocational and technical schools can apply for higher education. Candidates who apply for the corresponding major will be given priority if their test scores are within the same number.
