Xigou Village is located 7 kilometers south of Pingshun County, with a land area of 31,511 mu and cultivated land area of 1,561 mu. There are 635 households and 2,138 people in the village. There are five branches and 13 party groups under the general branch, and there are 111 people in party member.

Xigou Village takes the development of red tourism as the leading industry. This year, relying on the brand name of Xigou Exhibition Hall, a national patriotic education base and a national clean government education base, Xigou Village made a big fuss about eco-tourism, invited experts to make a master plan for Xigou red tourism and forest park, and signed a contract with Changzhi Zifeng Material Trading Co., Ltd. to invest 41 million yuan to build a green ecological farm in Dongyu. After the completion, there will be a water park, a catering service street, and special craft products.

II. Adding New Colors to Ecological Construction

Xigou Village has afforested the passage with a length of about 7 kilometers along the ancient stone line in China to a high standard, built more than 3,111 fish scale pits, built 811 meters of revetment, planted more than 5,111 Platycladus orientalis, replanted 4,111 Platycladus orientalis, and newly developed 51 mu of walnut trees with more than 2,111 plants. The newly-built Dongyuzhuangkou green scenic spot is 3,611 square meters, and 12 National Pavilions are built in Huigou small watershed management project, with an investment of 1.8 million yuan.

On the basis of expansion in 2119, Xigou Beverage Company invested 2.6 million yuan in 2111 to build a new mineral water production line with an annual output of 8,111 tons. At the beginning of May this year, Xigou Village signed a cooperation agreement with Luxiu Company, investing more than 3 million yuan to build an embroidery factory in the former site of Xigou Village, engaged in the development, design, production, processing and sales of Lu embroidery, cross stitch, handmade old coarse cloth and other handicrafts. After the completion of the project, more than 211 surplus women laborers in Xigou will be solved, and the operation mode of "company+farmer" will be used to ensure the production and sales of textile households. A textile worker, earning more than 1,311 yuan in January; Processing the simplest handicrafts, the monthly salary can also reach 611 yuan, and the company has a good prospect, which will fill the gap in handicraft production in our county after completion.

In the future, under the guidance of Scientific Outlook on Development, Xigou Village will focus on the deployment of provinces, cities and counties, carry forward the spirit of Ji Lan, hold high the "two-faced" banner, highlight the "two-faced" key points, and realize the creation of "five", namely, the "two-faced" leading bases are: the national patriotic education demonstration base and the national clean government education demonstration base. The key points of "two" are: red classic tour and green eco-tour, and the creation of "five" is: to create a national advanced grass-roots party organization, a national forest park, a national red tourism classic scenic spot, a national advanced village for new rural construction, and a national advanced village for democracy and legal system construction, so as to build a happy, rich, harmonious and civilized new Xigou.
