Units and individuals engaged in food production and catering need to apply for hygiene licenses. 1. According to the relevant provisions of the Food Hygiene Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), any unit (enterprise) or individual engaged in the following contents must apply for a food hygiene license before starting business: 1.
