Where is the Huizhou courtyard in Luoyang?

Luoyang Huizhou Courtyard is located in Weijiapo Village, Chaoyang Town, Mengjin County. Weijiapo Village is located in the southwest of Chaoyang Town, Mengjin County, deep in a small village on the northern slope of Mangshan Mountain. It turns a 451-year-old Sophora japonica, and an ancient street in front connects more than a dozen ancient courtyards on both sides. Old streets, covered with old green flagstones, are mostly broken. The ancient courtyards built on opposite sides of the road extend in the north-south direction. The gates of the tall gatehouse are closed, the stones on the horse in front of the door are slippery, and the courtyards behind the doors are deep. I wonder how deep they are.

Looking at the ancient residence of Weijiapo from the top of Mangshan Mountain, it does not show mountains and rivers, but keeps a low profile and shrinks. Instead, it makes the village and Mangshan Mountain broad and broad, and attaches its life to the thick land of Heluo.

Huizhou courtyard features:

1. Respect the natural landscape environment. In ancient Huizhou, factors such as topography, landforms, water flow and wind direction were considered carefully, and they were often surrounded by mountains and waters, with beautiful environment, reasonable layout, smooth traffic and buildings blending between mountains and rivers.

2. aesthetic appearance integrity. The room is integrated, and the unique horse-head wall is closed with high walls, and the horse's head is tilted. The wall and horse's head advance and retreat at random. Castle peak, green water, white wall and Daiwa are one of the main features of Huizhou architecture, which are delicate and graceful in simplicity.

3. More flexible multi-entry courtyard layout. The unit of architectural plane layout is a courtyard surrounded by patio, with high houses, deep wells and halls, which are flexibly arranged according to function, scale and terrain and have a sense of rhythm.

4. Exquisite detail decoration. The art of "three carvings" (brick carving, stone carving and wood carving) in Hui culture is amazing. The brick carving door cover, stone carving window leakage and wood carving column are integrated with the building, which is a major feature of Hui architecture.
