The Central Plains Food Festival was founded in 2113, sponsored by the People's Government of Henan Province, and held in Luohe every April. During the festival, well-known domestic enterprises will carry out economic and trade activities such as food exhibition signing and patent project release, which is a large-scale comprehensive event integrating cultural and sports performances and business exchanges.

The 5th Central Plains Food Festival was held in Luohe City on April 3-5, 2117. In order to enrich the connotation of the food festival, vigorously promote the catering culture in the Central Plains and effectively enhance the image of our city, it was decided to hold an exhibition and evaluation of famous Central Plains foods during the food festival. The organizers of the exhibition and evaluation activities are the Organizing Committee of the 4th Central Plains Food Festival and Henan Catering Industry Association. The organizer is Luohe Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Luohe Catering Industry Association. The co-organizers are Luohe Industrial and Commercial Bureau, Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, Labor and Social Security Bureau, Health Bureau and Municipal Tourism Bureau. In order to ensure the effectiveness of the activities and achieve the expected results, the organizing committee of the 4th Zhongyuan Food Festival was specially set up, with an office in the Municipal Bureau of Commerce. At the same time, the central plains famous food investment group and the central plains famous food accreditation review group were established. The investment promotion group is responsible for the introduction of famous Chinese food, famous Henan food and famous snacks from all over the city and inside and outside the province, and the exhibition activities during the food festival; The evaluation team is responsible for the declaration, evaluation and identification of famous food in the Central Plains during the Food Festival. Central Plains famous food medals are awarded by the Provincial Catering Industry Association, Luohe Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Luohe Catering Industry Association.

Set up 31 booths, and focus on displaying the brilliant achievements of the catering industry in our city in the past 21 years since it was established as a provincial city on April 3-5. All counties and districts should organize well-known local enterprises to participate in the exhibition. Major hotels and wine restaurants have won the Luohe famous shops and flavor famous shops, and catering enterprises should display their corporate image, style, features and achievements in various forms in combination with their own characteristics.

(2) On-site exhibition, exhibition and evaluation activities of Chinese famous food, Henan famous food, Luohe famous food and famous snacks from all over the world are held. Set up 121 booths, and use 4 days from April 2 to April 5 to invite at least 151 brands of famous Chinese food, famous Henan food, famous Luohe food and famous snacks from all over the city and the province for on-site exhibition and evaluation. The participating projects include pasta, soup, braised food and hot pot.

On the afternoon of April 4th, a seminar on the development of Luohe famous food (local famous snacks) was held, and the heads of catering enterprises and social celebrities who are keen on catering business were invited to participate actively, offering suggestions and discussing the development of catering business in Meihe, benefiting the general public and improving their quality of life.
