I go to college in Chengdu, Sichuan, and I usually make some short trips to the surrounding scenic spots during the weekend holidays. Huanglongxi, located in the suburb of Chengdu, is really a good place for a one-day weekend trip. I've been to Huanglongxi twice or three times, and I've made a detailed and complete strategy. Let me share it with you ~
1. Introduction to scenic spots
Located in Shuangliu District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, Huanglongxi Ancient Town is one of the top ten ancient water towns. Most of the ancient towns were built in the Ming and Qing Dynasties, with blue smooth stone roads, shiny black doors, antique signboards and buildings with cornices and corners, which are full of ancient meanings. The core scenic spot of Huanglongxi is famous for its "ten antiquities" such as ancient streets, ancient trees and ancient temples. Opposite the Zhenjiang Temple in the ancient town is the intersection of Jinjiang and Luxi River. The Jinjiang River is clear and the Luxi River is brown, which shows the landscape of "Huanglong crossing the Qingjiang River and the real dragon hiding in China".
Two or three kilometers from the mouth of Luxi River, you can reach the diffusion scenic spot of Huanglong River. There are the famous Big Buddha Temple and Kannonji in this scenic spot. The two temples are located on two mountains, facing each other from afar. In addition, there is Chenjia Island, one of the "Huanglong Five Islands". The island has the only ancient water mill in western Sichuan, which squeaks dumb. It has aroused many sweet memories of people's farming culture ...
2. Introduction to the scenic spot
1. Ticket price: free
2. Opening hours: all day
3. Suitable season: summer
4. Address of the scenic spot: Shuanghuang Road, huanglongxi town, Shuangliu District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province
5. Suggested time to play: 2. If you take a bus or bus, you can choose the following routes:
You can take a coach directly to Huanglongxi Ancient Town Scenic Area at Xinnanmen Bus Station of Chengdu Tourism Distribution Center, with a fare of RMB 15 and a journey of about 71 minutes.

You can take the bus to Shuangliu Passenger Transport Center at Chengdu Chadianzi Station, and then transfer to No.818 bus to reach Huanglongxi Ancient Town Scenic Area. The whole fare is 8 yuan, and the total journey takes 81 minutes.
personally, I tried the second and third modes of riding when I went to Huanglongxi for a short trip, but from my personal experience, I suggest choosing the second mode. Chengdu Bus Terminal and Huayang Passenger Transport Center are both crowded, and the transfer time is long, and it is not convenient for tourists to always be careful not to get off at the wrong station. The second way is much more worry-free, and you can rest directly after getting on the bus.
Secondly, if you want to go on road trip, there are many routes to choose from:
Starting from Tianfu Square in Chengdu, go straight to Shuanghua Road on Tianfu Avenue along Renmin South Road, then turn left to Shuanghuang Avenue to reach Huanglongxi Scenic Area.
From Chengnan Expressway chengdu railway station to South Third Ring Road, turn to Tianfu Avenue Shuanghua Road under Tianfu Interchange on Third Ring Road, and then turn to Shuanghuang Avenue via Shuanghua Road to reach Huanglongxi Scenic Area.
chengdu railway station from Zicheng Mian Expressway turns into Chengdu Ring Expressway, exits at Tianfu Avenue, and then turns into Shuanghuang Avenue via Shuanghua Road to reach Huanglongxi Scenic Area.
finally, traveling by subway is also a very good choice. We can get off at Huilong Station of Chengdu Metro Line 5, transfer to S18 and get off at Huanglongxi Bus Terminal, and finally walk 536 meters to Huanglongxi Scenic Area.
4. Accommodation recommendation
1. Accommodation is the first thing to make sure when traveling. If you stay in a hotel, it is recommended to make a reservation in advance. But according to my experience, I suggest you choose a local homestay with unique characteristics. There are many homestays around Huanglongxi, with high cost performance, excellent privacy and various styles. I stayed in a homestay for two trips, which was really comfortable, and it didn't matter if I washed and cooked. You won't step on thunder when you choose any homestay around Huanglongxi Scenic Area.
High cost performance: The price of homestays around the scenic spot is generally 211-311 yuan per night, which can accommodate two people.

a noodle: this snack, also known as longevity noodle, is a traditional noodle food in Huanglongxi ancient town. A noodle always has to go through more than a dozen processes from kneading to cooking, so it tastes smooth and tender, with endless aftertaste, spicy and refreshing, and the average price is about 15 yuan.
stone mill bean curd: also known as pearl bean curd, it is white in color, delicate in taste, and has a natural and fresh taste, which can be enjoyed for about 11 yuan on average.

With mountain pepper, red pepper and coriander as auxiliary materials, the soup is delicious and tender, spicy and delicious, and it will not be forgotten for a long time after eating it once. This ancient pier left over from the Three Kingdoms period is made of strips of stone and is still intact. Boating on the river, drinking tea and thinking about the past, quietly thinking about the old grand occasion of boating in the ancient Huanglong River.
Fifth stop: Huanglongxi Covered Bridge: Huanglongxi is smart because of the water, and Jinjiang and Luxi River meet in the ancient town and become one. Across the banks of Jinjiang River, a majestic bridge is particularly eye-catching, which is Huanglongxi Covered Bridge. The covered bridge itself is a scene of its own, magnificent and magnificent.
The sixth stop: the Great Buddha Temple: The Great Buddha Temple is located on the banks of Luxi River. When the weather is fine, you can see the temples on the other side when you stand near the ancient pier. The earliest Huanglongxi Buddha Temple was originally built in the Ming Dynasty, sitting solemnly and with unique design.
