(1) The inside of the oil cup is too dirty, the filter screen is blocked or the oil level in the oil cup is low.
(2) There is a lot of air in the power steering system.
(3) There is a foreign body in the steering system, which causes the flow control valve of the steering pump to be stuck.
(4) Insufficient tire pressure, interference of pump steering column, loose connection, loose pump belt, pump slipping or loose installation position.
(5) The bolts at each joint of the tubing are loose, which leads to the leakage of steering fluid.
(6) The steering gear piston cylinder is excessively worn, the oil seal is poor, and the control valve is stuck or damaged.
2) Fault diagnosis and elimination:
(1) Check the steering gear, steering pump control valve, oil cup filter screen and steering oil, and clean the whole power steering system.
(2) If the pump is dirty, be sure to clean the inside and outside of the booster pump and tubing (cotton gauze or other multi-fiber cloth should not be used for cleaning, but a clean brush should be used for cleaning), and exhaust the steering system as required.
(3) Inflate the tires as required and adjust the performance of the engine.
(4) Add oil to the specified oil level, and check or replace the oil cup.
(5) Adjust the tension of the belt as required, and tighten the connecting screws of all components.
(6) Check the tubing connection parts and tighten the connecting bolts.
(7) Replace the oil pipe, power steering pump or power steering gear.
