The so-called hydrocarbon oil, hydrogen energy oil, environmental protection oil, etc. on the market are all the same thing with different names. In fact, it is a fuel oil mainly blended with methanol, also called alcohol-based fuel and methanol fuel.
Precautions for the use of alcohol-based fuel in catering industry
At the initial stage of development, alcohol-based liquid fuel was mainly used as civil cooking fuel and heating fuel. However, due to the lagging development of gas appliances and the immature technology, the progress was relatively slow. As a civil fuel, methanol is safer than liquefied gas, and it is used in catering industry. The national standard of the People's Republic of China: alcohol-based liquid fuel (GB 16663-1996) has been established. At present, the application of alcohol-based fuel in catering is generally safe, and there are basically no accidents such as poisoning and explosion. However, a small number of users still have luck, lack of safety awareness, and still cannot standardize safety operation procedures.
in order to strengthen the safety management of alcohol-based liquid fuels and special burners in use and prevent accidents, this regulation is formulated in accordance with relevant national standards and combined with reality.
1. Alcohol-based liquid fuels and special burners must be installed by units that have obtained the Hazardous Chemicals Production License and Hazardous Chemicals Business License issued by the Municipal Administration of Work Safety. And keep the product production license, product inspection report, product execution certificate and product specification for the record.
2. Units that use alcohol-based liquid fuel and special burners shall meet the following safety conditions:
(1) The fuel tank, liquid circuit and fuel valve shall be tight, and there shall be no liquid or gas leakage; (two) special burner abnormal situation, should immediately close the valve and timely maintenance; (3) The pipelines and joints of the fuel system shall ensure that there is no liquid or gas leakage under the pressure of 1.3 MPa and 151 degrees Celsius; (four) when filling the fuel, the special certificate for the transportation of alcohol-based liquid fuel and the safety of explosion-proof pump should be checked; (5) The kitchen operation room shall be well ventilated and ventilated, and exhaust and combustible gas alarm devices shall be installed in the air-blocked or closed space; (6) Establish a post safety responsibility system and safety operation procedures, and hang them in a conspicuous place in the operation room
3. Post operators should check the safety of valves, switches and flow control devices every day. The user shall organize management, professional and operating personnel to carry out an inspection once a month, mainly to check the safety of fuel tank, pipeline, breathing valve, thermostatic pad and gasket, and make records of the inspection.
4. The user shall prepare an emergency plan, formulate corresponding safety precautions and conduct emergency drills on a regular basis. In case of leakage, the power shall be cut off in time, and the valve shall be closed. The site shall be equipped with necessary fire fighting equipment and water source.
5. The fuel tank should be installed in a separate space or outdoors, and outdoor installation measures should be taken to prevent rain and exposure; The volume of the fuel tank shall not exceed 1.8 cubic meters.
VI. The burner installation should be firm and reliable.
VII. Rules for Safe Operation and Use of Alcohol-based Fuel (1) Before ignition, turn on the switch of the fuel tank and check whether there is liquid leakage in the switch and pipeline. (2) ignite the ignition rod and then turn on the burner switch. (3) The fuel flows into the burner to start ignition, and the fuel inflow should not be too much. (4) After the fuel is ignited, gradually increase the air volume of the damper and adjust the oil valve. The air and fuel should be matched and adjusted to the * state for use. (five) according to the need to control the fire at any time, in order to save fuel. (6) After the cease-fire, turn off the burner and switch the fuel tank for fuel overflow.
VIII. Precautions for the safe use of alcohol-based fuels (1) The fuel tank should be far away from the fire source and have fire prevention measures. (2) This product is only used as fuel, and food and other uses are strictly prohibited. (3) Rinse with clear water immediately when it accidentally spills into eyes during use. (four) regularly check the fuel tank and pipeline to prevent leakage from causing fire. (5) Ventilation devices should be installed in the operation space to keep the air circulating. (6) If a fire is accidentally caused, you can use water or dry powder to extinguish the fire and call 119.
