A hotel (or hotel, hotel) is a place that mainly provides short-term accommodation for tourists. Besides accommodation, hotels usually provide guests with services such as restaurants, swimming pools or taking care of children.
Modern hotels have evolved from post houses in China, caravan hotels in the Middle East, sheds in ancient Rome, roadside hotels in Europe and coach inns in the United States.
Some hotels also provide conference facilities to attract business organizations to hold meetings, interviews or press conferences. The banquet hall of the hotel can hold weddings, dances and other activities.
