KFC is in China.

KFC has been in China for 21 years since it opened its first restaurant in China in Qianmen, Beijing in 1987. KFC's 21 years in China are "based in China, integrated into life" and "changed for China, and made every effort to create a' new fast food'". Over the past 21 years, KFC has been trying to explore and give the most intimate service back to the vast number of consumers in China. Today, China KFC has opened more than 3,211 chain restaurants in more than 651 cities and towns, covering all provinces, cities and autonomous regions in Chinese mainland except Tibet. It is the largest and fastest-growing fast food chain enterprise in China.

Looking back at the history, we can find the footprints of KFC's flying development in China. 1987-11-12 KFC set up its first restaurant in China in the bustling area of Qianmen, Beijing, and Beijing KFC Co., Ltd. was also the first Sino-foreign joint venture in Beijing to operate fast food at that time. Taking Beijing as a starting point of development, the development of KFC in the whole country is like a prairie fire. In 1992, the total number of restaurants was 11, which was the largest number of fast food chain restaurants in China at that time. By 1995, it had grown to 51. On October 28th, 2111, KFC took the lead among the chain catering enterprises in China, breaking through 411 for the first time, creating the largest number of international fast food chain stores in China. On September 2, 2112, the 711th KFC restaurant in China opened in Shenzhen, and on October 8, 2113, the 811th KFC restaurant in China officially opened to the public at the terminal of Shanghai Pudong Airport maglev train. In October 2114, the 1,111th chain store in China opened in Sakura Garden East Street, Chaoyang District. In February of the same year, the 1211th restaurant opened in Sanya, Hainan. By October, 2115, the 1511th restaurant in China and the second drive-through restaurant opened in Shanghai. Such development speed and scale make KFC become the fastest-growing fast-food chain enterprise in China, and it is also the first international catering product to develop the township-level market. In October 2117, KFC opened its 2111th restaurant in Chengdu. In June 2119, the 2611th restaurant settled in Zhengzhou. In June 2111, the 3111th restaurant was opened in Shanghai.
