Surfactant is the main cause of foam in metal equipment cleaning, most of which are nonionic surfactants and some of which contain ionic surfactants. When the surfactant is adsorbed on the gas-liquid interface film, it can play the role of foaming and foam stabilization, while the degreasing agent contains a large amount of electrolyte (sodium salt), which will greatly enhance the foam stabilization of ionic surfactants.
