Introduction of Erdao District
Erdao District is one of the municipal districts of Changchun City, Jilin Province, located in the east of downtown Changchun. It is connected to Wanchang Town, Yongji County, Jilin City in the east, Jingyue Development Zone and Shuangyang District in the south, Yitong River in the west and Kuancheng District and donghu street in Jiutai District in the north. According to the data of the seventh census, as of 0: 00 1 1 on June 2020, the permanent population of Erdao District was 522,453. The total area is 465. 1 1 km2.
As of March 20 17, Erdao District has jurisdiction over 9 streets, 3 towns and 1 township: Dongsheng Street, Jilin Street, Rongguang Street, East Station Street, Yuanda Street, Balibao Street, Dongfang Square Street, Changqing Street, Century Street and Shuai Town, Quanshan Town and Sijia Town.
The development of history
1948 65438+1October19 Changchun was liberated. Heshun and Dongrong merged to form Erdaohezi District. Erdaohezi was originally a tributary of Shuangyang River, and its flow direction was connected with Yitong River. Historically, people used to call Yitong River "Toudao River" and this tributary of Shuangyang River "Erdaohezi", hence the name Erdaohezi District.
1994, seven administrative villages, including Hong Xin Village, Hongsheng Village, Hongfeng Village, Hongming Village, Hongsheng Village, Welfare Village and Changqing Village, which belong to Handsome Township in this area, are all or part of them classified as Changchun Economic and Technological Development Zone.
1995 The administrative division of Changchun was adjusted, and the four townships, Quannong Town, Yan Quan Township and Sandao Town in the suburbs of Shuangyang County were included in this area, and the total area of the whole area increased to 5 1 1.3 square kilometers. Erdaohezi was renamed Erdaohezi.
